Resellers and Careers

Merit's growth plans are aggressive and in line with our growth strategy we intend to set up a network of resellers/business partners and commission based sales people.

Resellers/Partners Required

Merit's software has been highly regarded and well received in the bakery industry for over 25 years. Plans are being implemented to strengthen the product even further and expand the industry sectors where it is utilised. The plans are ambitious and we need only the very best partners to help us succeed.

We wish to set up a network of resellers/business partners throughout England, Wales, Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland. The requirement would be for a partner with an existing range of products that have synergy with but which do not compete with our own. Food industry experience would be preferred. We would expect appointed partners to promote, generate leads and sell. We would supply the technical backup. We offer generous commission levels of up to 35% for self-generated business and where appropriate a lower commission level of up to 20% for leads generated by Merit.

We would want resellers/partners to become part of the Merit family and become fully involved with company planning and strategy with the sole aim to build a long-term mutually beneficial business relationship. So you would not be an arms length partner but a fully involved member of the Merit team.

Product training would be provided.

Sales People Required

We require a number of mature, experienced sales people for an immediate start. Experience of the food industry, in particular the bakery sector, would be of great interest. However software sales experience is a minimum requirement. We pay a high commission.

These are self-employed commission based positions so candidates running their own consultancy business with 2-3 days per week spare in the initial stages would be perfect.
